The Living City Foundation

In our first Annual Report as The Living City® Foundation, we highlight the essence of what we do. It’s right in our vision that we share with Toronto and Region Conservation:

Our vision is for a new kind of community, The Living City®, where human settlement can flourish forever as part of nature’s beauty and diversity. In the greater Toronto region, we made great strides on both fronts in 2011. We were engaged in powerful, sustainable city-building and we enhanced and protected the remarkable wildlife species which share this region with us.

This is also our first-ever Gratitude Report. We are grateful for the dedicated staff that works hard at the foundation and at TRCA. We are grateful for the many volunteers who give of their precious time to help us build The Living City®.

And we are grateful for the thousands of donors, individual and institutional, who provide financial support to the foundation.
